Rory’s Makeup Haul: Sephora Edition

So since Christmas I have been stashing gift cards for Sephora trying to find a perfect occasion to go shopping, as if I need an actual occasion. Although I could probably use it towards foundation of stuff I actually need I decided to splurge and buy things that I want. So I went ahead and walked in open minded, something I’ve been wanting are eye shadow palettes or maybe contouring but to be honest with you I don’t have time to contour my face I can’t I don’t have the skills nor the patience to learn it. I am perfectly fine with how my face usually looks. I want to focus on my eye look; I only have a few eye shadows I picked up from drugstores as you can recall from my Every Day Makeup Co$t post.

And I feel I should probably practice a bit more when it comes to eyeshadow blending before I splurge on some more high-end makeup.

I actually was thinking about lipsticks, especially when I found this beautiful shade from Stila but I realize I have so many lipsticks from Kylie Lip Kit collection I don’t think I should be spending any more money haha

So the brushes I have, I’ve had for literally over five years now probably even longer and I do my best on washing them twice a month but I know I should probably start using brushes for different techniques.

I saw this and honestly I just got it because I liked it and the idea of natural makeup, which is what I’m wanting to practice. Especially since I was wanting eye shadows, I just had to get me some!

I’ve never really cared about eyeliners because for me, I don’t ask much from them; as long as it darkens under my eye, but as I was looking at other girls pictures I realize how clean a lot of their makeup looks, so I decided to splurge on a liner. Mainly because I just swapped it across my hand and I loved how smooth it came on. I’M SOLD!

Since I love the smudge look from the summer that a lot of girls will get under their eyes. So I decided to get up and walk over to the Anastasia products looking at their brushes that they had and I can only find one good smudger (not a word, sorry!) with good reviews.

Anyways this is my haul it’s not as much as I was thought it be. I’m grateful for the gift cards and I ended up paying like $20 out of my pocket! But hey I got all of this, thank you so much and special thanks for major contributor my mother-in-law she gave me as stocking stuffers, she has such great taste to buy me these!
